MANTLE 2011 will be held once again in the iconic Newcastle City Hall, in the Civic Precinct.
The Rooms in the City Hall are spacious and historic. Check them out here.
Where is it?
How to get there?
Walk - especially if you are locally based.
Ride a bike - the Fernleigh Track can take you to Adamstown where you can join the NSW Coastal Cycleway to The Junction, and quiet back streets to Civic Park. Email us for a detailed route.
Bus - get off on Hunter Street at Civic, walk through Wheeler Place beside the Civic Theatre.
Train - Civic Station, walk through Wheeler Place
Car - to be honest it will be you and all the CBD workers, so we recommend car pooling if possible, be early and be happy to either pay for a car park or have a short walk from some free parking places. For free parking you may need to be there at 8am and enjoy a breakfast at a local coffee shop.
Parking?
Parking Stations are on Gibson Street, King Street (David Jones car park and council station)
On Honeysuckle there is some 8 hour parking
Behind the conservatorium in Bruce Street and Corlette Street there is free parking but you need to walk.
